Respite Certificates

What is Respite?

Respite gives caregivers a break from caring for an individual who cannot be left alone. All caregivers need time for themselves to do necessary activities or just relax.

Respite services are divided into two categories:

  • In-home care for up to 24 hours.
  • Adult Day-group program outside the home featuring socialization, activities and nutrition.

Both of these programs are designed to provide companionship to the care partner and relief/rest to the caregiver.

Why consider respite?

Being a caregiver is both rewarding and stressful. Respite services help caregivers continue to provide the best care possible by allowing them to have a break and some needed personal time.

Respite Certificates allow caregivers to try respite services at little to no cost
